Baked Custard

3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
Mix together these four ingredients.

Gradually stir in:
2.5 cups scalded milk

Pour into six 6-oz. custard cups, sprinkle with nutmeg.  Place cups on 13x9x2 pan.  Pour hot water into pan to within 1/2" of top of cups.

Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
