Kahlua Cake

1 box yellow cake mix

1 box instant chocolate pudding

1 cup oil (or 1 cup applesauce + 2 tbs oil)

4 eggs (or 5 egg whites)

3/4 cup water

1/4 cup Kahlua

1/4 cup vodka


Combine all ingredients

Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan

Bake at 350F for 45 minutes

Cool for 20 minutes

Pour glaze


Glaze: (this is optional. I used it on my cake, but I think it would still be good without it).

1 cup sugar

1/4 cup water

2 tbs. vodka

2 tbs. Kahlua

Bring to a boil, then immediately remove from stove. Mix well. The glaze works best if you combine the sugar and water (but not the alcohol just yet) when you put the cake in the oven. Then some of the sugar will dissolve while the cake is baking. Then when the cake is cooling, add the alcohol to the water/sugar, bring it t a boil and mix vigorously. Then pour it on the cake.
