1. Will there be
vegetarian options at the reception?
There is
a lovely vegetarian option. Simply let your server know as the
meal begins.
2. Will there be
alcohol at the wedding?
Lots of
it!
3. Is there are
preferred hotel?
The Drake
Hotel is offering guests of the Kemp/Urbanovsky wedding
discounted room rates that start at $200.
The Drake
Hotel does not have an indoor swimming pool. However, across the
street is Oak Street Beach which has swimming areas and life
guards in Lake Michigan. This is a great spot to people watch
too. There is a walkway that goes underneath Lake Shore Drive
outside The Drake's north doors.
4. Where are Tim
and Brandy registered?
We are
registered at Marshall Fields and Crate and Barrel. This spring
Marshall Fields will be changing
its name to Macys. For now, you can view the registries at
www.marshallfields.com
(soon to be named Macy's)
and
crateandbarrel.com.
5. Where are the
Bride and Groom honeymooning?
Tim did
an incredible job planning the honeymoon. We are going to
Thailand for 2 weeks. We'll be visiting Bangkok, Cheng Mai and
Phuket.
6. What is the
attire for the wedding?
Black tie
optional – So if you have a tux and want to dust it off, go for
it. Otherwise, a suit is great.
7. When is Tim's wedding day fun run?
The
wedding run will begin at 10:30 am on the wedding day morning – meet
in the lobby of The Drake Hotel. The run will proceed along the
lakefront path and then return. Alternate option – the
wedding run takes place as the bride starts to walk down the
isle and the groom runs away.
