	My birthday! We left Florence and jumped a train to Venice. Before our train left, we toured the gardens of Torre Di Bellosguardo. The hotel had two pools, plenty of exotic birds, endless gardens, rabbits, fish ponds and a twenty Euro continental breakfast.

This is St. Mark's Square in Venice. The photo to the right is what the building looks like during the evening. At night, bands play in little tents (you can see two of the tents in the photo on the right) and we could drink and enjoy the music. We even danced.

This is the Rialto Bridge. This is one of a few bridges that span the Grand Canal.

We celebrated my 35th birthday with dinner at Al Graspo De Va ("The Bunch of Grapes"), a restaurant recommended by DiAnn and Terry. The wait staff wouldn't let us pour our own wine. After dinner, we had drinks at Harry's Bar and danced in St. Mark's Square.
