We spent the day walking all around Florence. There were two highlights of the day. We visited the Accademia too see the statue of Daivd (by Michelangelo). Also, we climbed to the top of the Duomo.

This is a photo taken outside of our Hotel. The Ponte Vecchio is the bridge in the background. This bridge was the only bridge that survived World War 2.

This is the Duomo. The scale and detail is amazing.

Brandy is lighting a candle inside the Duomo.

This is the doors to the Dumo.

This is the Mercato Centrale. It is a supermarket that is the size of a stadium. The meats, seafood and cheeses were on the first floor and the produce was on the second floor.

This is a photo on the top of the Duomo.

This is the ceiling at the top of Duomo. As we climbed the stairs to get to the top, we could walk around the circumference of the dome.

These are the stairs that lead to the top of the Duomo. They are actually curved as we were walking on top of the dome.

A snazzy couple cocktailing.

We visited the lobby of a fancy hotel and had a drink.

We had dinner at a restaurant that had travel posters plastered along the walls.

Brandy thought this poster on the side of a building was worth a photo.

We found a sports bar in Florence that was televising the Houston/Atlanta Game 3 playoff game.
