We arrived in Rome in the afternoon...just in time to clean-up and begin our first sightseeing adventure. Our hotel was in a tourist area with plenty of shopping, monuments and shopping. Rome is extremely easy to get around on foot and easy to get lost. The streets aren't marked well, they curve and without notice, the street name can change. After not finding our first restaurant choice for our first dinner in Italy, we settled at Alfredos. I was able to dazzle the servers with my "Italian."

This is Trevi Fountain. It was made famous by the movie Three Coins in a fountain. Our hotel was a couple blocks away.

This is dinner at Alfredos. It is an extremely local restaurant and our first attempt at ordering was a bit rough. We started our trip each ordering something from each course. We soon learned to skip courses and share.
