Day 12, Thursday, 3/13
We tooled around Iguazu stopping by our morning café for chocolates and our favorite local restaurant for what I thought would be our last empanadas in Argentina. We caught a mid afternoon flight to Buenos Aires where we found more empanadas at the domestic airport. We eventually made our way to the international airport in Buenos Aires for a late flight back to the US. We made it a mission to spend all of our pesos which we easily did during the taxi ride to the international airport in rush hour.
We left Argentina broke, full, hungover, more-wordly, a renewed appreciation for the simple luxuries that we take for granted (like clean water, permanent roofs, effortless communication and somewhat reliable wi-fi) and grateful that we have the means and patience to travel to the other hemisphere.
